Does anyone know if the Redskins are going to have a tribute or an event to remember Sean Taylor in any way this season. If so what and when.

RIP Sean Taylor April 1, 1983 - November 27, 2007

Sorry man but I doubt it. They might do something on the 1 year anniversary of his passing, idk.

I'm not trying to be mean here but they gave him a proper tribute during last season, everybody knows he's gone but he's not forgotten. They aren't going to keep bringing it up every season, it's time to let him rest in peace.

There is a link on Redskins.com set aside just for remembering Sean. Feel free to visit it any time.

I think Larry Michael said that the team would be doing something this season, but what/when has not been determined. He said this a few days ago on Redskins Nation.

What hasn't the team done already?...and why do you think there is a need for more?

Taylor's passing took place a while ago and there was funereal and everything. I don't know if you missed it, but a number of things were done to commerate the life of Sean Taylor. His memory alone inspires people on many different levels.

Do you not feel closure yet or are you looking for the personal entertainment value of another tribute.

I feel the loss like the next guy but to ask what the Redskins are going to do next to commerate Sean is saying that they haven't done enough already. They gave a great memorial and have to deal with loss like everyone else, by giving it closure.

I loved watching the guy, let him rest in peace.

Zorn was asked this question in a press conference. Im paraphrasing what he said now, but basically we'll never forget Sean, and what happened was a tragedy, but we're moving on as a team. We won't be holding anything special for Sean. Basically, I feel like we've done a ton already, Snyder has shown a bunch of class. But I agree with Zorn, time to move forward and just remember Sean Taylor as a person and we need to do it as individuals.

Also I think I heard that his locker would remain as he left it and encased to preserve it.

They have done a lot and I know that. I was not saying that they needed to do more for him. All I did was ask if they would do some type of thing, and it really was not that long ago (only last season). So I was just wondering if they were going to do something this season that's all. Don't make more out of what I asked. I loved watching him too. But Larry Michael did say they would do something. I mainly wanted to know what.

I would think sometime in November they'll do something to honor him.

Maybe they will retire his number and that's it. I'm in agreement with a majority of the people on here. I miss Sean, just as much as the next person, but we need to let him rest in peace. His teammates miss him, as well, and I'm sure they don't need any more of a reminder than the one they have in their locker room.
