I'm still not comfy with Heyer and Jansen gave up a sack.

Yeah, Heyer didn't do so hot last night. At least in pass protection. Obviously he must have had something to do with a running game that averaged 5.0 ypc, but getting beat by both speed and power rushers last night brings me cause for concern. Then again didn't he struggle last year during preseason.

Also looks like Rhinehart is getting ready to become the 6th man in the O-Line rotation, but I'm pretty sure that Heyer will be fine.

Heres some footage of Heryer in pass protection so I guess we can see for ourselves how he did.

Jansen looked really slow against the speed on the edge. and Heyer looked really out of place. and to me, Wade is a more then adequate back up. nothing more

Malcolm Kelly has a history of knee problems so this isn't very good news. It says that he might have his knee scoped. At least he is having the top specialist have a look at the knee, but I really want Kelly to have a solid rookie year for us.
If Kelly gets 12 catches and no drops for the year I'll be happy. As for Wade, can play several positions though none well.

I think he had surgery today, or maybe it will be tomorrow. Either way he's out 2 weeks.

Seems like were pretty deep at wide receiver.

No need to rush Kelly into things.

Exactly.

C'mon its preseason, they put a speed rusher on Heyer and it messed him up. With the new offense, you got to block your man, no one's gonna bail you out. He'll learn, it was just one game. Go Terps!!!
