Thank You to all who attended HOFKope65 08-02-2008, 11:59 PM Very, very proud to be a skiis fan today. Well done to those who where there. WaldSkins 08-03-2008, 12:49 AM Did anyone else notice that douche bag Michael Irvin was the only one (other than this years class) wearing his yellow jacket? Maybe he didn't get the memo. He was the only one wearing sunglasses at 10pm. Something about people wearing sunglasses at night just pisses me off, especially when its crackheads from Dallas. HTTR and mad love for 81 and 28 Dan22 08-03-2008, 05:48 AM I was watching the induction on the NFL network. It was 2-3 AM in Paris, but it definitely worth it! Thank you for all the Redskins fans over there to represent those who could be in Canton. You did it well ! Hail to the Redskins ! Hail to Art and Darrell! Hail to the Redskins Nation ! Beemnseven 08-03-2008, 09:40 AM You know, I'm a little surprised at all the continuous hate for Michael Irvin. I know he's an ex-Cowchip and all. And certainly he's battled his own personal demons, like all of us have, but come on ... can't we for one day suspend all the vitriol for the guy? He's had some great things to say about Monk and Green. All this hate isn't good for anybody. MTK 08-03-2008, 10:44 AM You know, I'm a little surprised at all the continuous hate for Michael Irvin. He's had some great things to say about Monk and Green. All this hate isn't good for anybody. Any mention of a Cowboy brought a showering of boos. It was a Redskin hometown crowd. I don't think it was hate, just the usual boos that a Cowboy brings to a Redskins crowd. I think Irvin took it in stride. JoeRedskin 08-03-2008, 11:01 AM When Renfro was introduced, he got a chorus of good natured boos, laughed and acted surprised and the crowd responded with laughter back. As for Irvin, I think there is a lot of anger that he got in before Monk. bigmac128 08-06-2008, 07:39 PM Let's get Chris Hanburger into the Hall of Fame! Now that Art Monk has been inducted, Redskins fans need to focus their attention and energy on the next most qualified Redskin for the Hall of Fame. That player is NOT Russ Grimm, Joe Jacoby, Gary Clark, Larry Brown, Jerry Smith or Pat Fischer. I love all those players, but the player most qualified for induction is Chris Hanburger! Nine-time Pro Bowler. Four-time All Pro. 1972 NFC Defensive Player of the Year on the Redskins first Super Bowl team. Handpicked by George Allen to call defensive signals for one of the best defenses in the NFL during the 1970's. Let's not forget those last two facts! Everyone mentions the Pro Bowl number (9), but most people forget that he was NFC Defensive Player of the year in 1972 and George Allen's defensive signal caller for 5 years! The NFL Network recently ran an NFL Films special on the 10 best players not in the Hall of Fame. The 10 players they picked were Ken Anderson, Steve Tasker, Alex Karras, Ricky Watters, Ken Stabler, Bob Hayes, Jim Marshall, Chris Carter, Derrick Thomas and Jerry Kramer. Most of those players (except Tasker and Watters) should probably be in the Hall of Fame, but Chris Hanburger is more qualified than anyone on that list except Chris Carter, and none of them has as many combined Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections (13) as Hanburger. Of all the former NFL players who are eligible to be selected by the Veterans Committee, Chris Hanburger is by far the strongest candidate in the field! Let's put an end to this gross oversight and get Chris Hanburger inducted! DCtoAZ 08-06-2008, 08:18 PM Being there and feeling the energy in that crowd .. booing Irvin was priceless ...
