Wow, didn't realize Lucas was on one knee when Smith attacked him. What a punk, and I think Westbrook's punishment was the karma that resulted in him tearing up a knee that year.

All I could think when I read this was.... MICHAEL WESTBROOK.... It is absolutely disgusting when teammates fight.

I agree 100% with what Carolina did. Smith is a punk.

According to ESPN's Matt Mosley, the Panthers may consider (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfceast/0-2-22/Smith-to-the-Cowboys-.html) trading Smith and the Cowboys are contemplating making a run at him. I'd be surprised if the Panthers traded him and I'd be terrified if he landed with the Boyz.

Yikes. That would be an awesome tandem at WR for the 'chips. How many times will Jerry Jones play with lit matches with his team?

Who ends up with Smith? Cowboys, Eagles, Vikes? Personally I'd be surprised to see him anywhere but Carolina. The Redskins can only hope for that scenario.

Smith obviously has some issues with controlling his anger. Dude needs to get that taken care of. Good to see the Panthers acted swiftly.

Not sure if discusting is the term I'd use. This happens all the time when two players hitting each other day in and day out get in a fight. Its always been a part of football it just most of the time they are in full pads and no one gets hurt. I think the Panthars are punishing the entire team with this two game susp. and its not fair to the other guys who are working so hard to win. I'd give him a big fine and donate it to the other players choice of charity and then people would benefit from these actions.

Of course PFT speculates the Redskins as an option. No basis for it, they just throw it out there
