Yup you're right,it actually happen twice to him with NY,he got a vaction the first time and the second they paid for a new outdoor kitchen/barbecue set up for the house.

that's like the wizards haywood (sp?).. he changed numbers 3 times in 3 years (he was wearing 00 when arenas came in, and the nba wouldn't let the team have a 0 and a 00).

generally about 20-35k is the average payout for a guy with a multi-million deal.

I like that he is going with a new number, it would be weird to see Carter wearing something else, but I would have liked to see the two ends wearing 98 and 99... My favorite part of the interview yesterday was when he said "no more dancing, unless its celebrating big plays!" It wouldn't have been smart for Taylor to buy his number. Why spend all that money, for what, 1 maybe 2 years of wearing it?

\Players are very superstitious about that kind of stuff, and the kind of money JT has throught football, plus the money he is going to have when he goes to hollywood will be nothing to a rich legend like him.

What switch are you referring to? He came in with 36, because Smoot had 21. Then, he switched back to 21 when Smoot left. Then, Smoot came back and his number was gone, lol. Now, I'll be surprised if any Redskin wears 21 again.

They don't retire numbers. The equipment manager simply doesn't give out some of them like 81,28, etc...

Portis was/is 26, so that was out of the question for Taylor. I think I remember reading somewhere that he wore 21 in High School, but I'm not sure.
