Phillip Daniels is done for the season, Buzbee also hurt (updated)

Looks like trading for Erasmus James is more than just taking a flyer, we may need him to produce. And soon.

That didn't take long.

I don't think we can expect production from James. I don't think he'll be attending training camp because he isn't healthy. We need to bring him along slowly.

sadly this year has picked up where last year left off with injuries.

Then hopefully this isn't a serious injury because just looking at the DE's on the roster we don't have much in the way of girth outside of Daniels and Demetric Evans. Not a good development on the first day.

WTF is wrong with our luck with injuries? Why do we always seem to get hit at the exact spot where we have the least depth? The bad news is that he was down on the field for several minutes and had to be taken off the field on a cart. The good news is that it's the first day of camp, Daniels is a vet that doesn't really need camp to be effective, and he's got a month to recover before the season starts.

i definitely left before that happened. Does not look like a good omen to start the first practice to.

That is a bad omen. The one area they skated on may be dealt a severe blow less than an hour into the season. I hope GB has got something up the sleeve or it '06 all over again.
