Sounds like he'll be fine for the season but still, a little scary for the Colts

I guess this means he's out for the game in Canton, I was really looking forward to seeing him play.

At least I got to see him get his ass kicked by the Skins during a Sunday Night Game a few years back. The other great thing about that game was that they had most of the 70 greatest Redskins on the field at halftime. IT was a fun night.
Now all we have to look forward to is seeing our D manhandle that human-bobbblehead Jim Sorgi.

Did you really think Manning would see the field in Canton?

Colts should trade for Favre now :)
Did you really think Manning would see the field in Canton?
Probably for a series or two, why not?

Yeah because he's not like Tomlinson who just skips preseason altogether. Manning always takes a couple series in each preseason game as a tune up. I see no reason why the Colts would treat this any differently than normal preseason games.
Of course now he'll ride the pine no matter what.

That's huge news, he's never been injured.

He had his jaw broken against the Fins(?) a few years back. I believe he missed the rest of that game, but he played the next one. So, it depends upon your definition of "injured." If you mean he hasn't missed games, you're correct, if you mean nothing has ever happened to him, that's false.

I would think that the Colts would consider Favre. Definitely not for a conditional 1st.
