as great as favre is,there is no way he could run that team like payton does.i have always liked payton because he is such a classy person on and off the field.

Favre wants to be the starter, so no way he goes to the Colts. I doubt we would see Manning play in the HOF game, I think it'd be too risky.

With his injury he's definitely not playing.

If he was healthy he would be playing.

I just wonder how much this will affect their timing early in the regular season.

I think they've been around long enough that it won't hurt as much as it would say if it was JC that had to miss 6 weeks before the start of the season. Once Peyton comes back it will be a week or two and he'll probably be back to his old self.
