My deepest condolences.

It probably goes without saying but I think it's of the utmost importance that Donnie's friends and family make sure his little girl grows up knowing what he did for her and her mother, and that they try to act as the positive influence that he would have been throughout her life.
May he rest in peace.

I had to bump this. 3 years ago today he was killed in such a senseless way. I just want him to know we still think about him and that is little girl is being taken care of.

I wasn't on the board to talk to you 3 years ago when your friend passed. But you have my sympathy man, I know what it is like to lose a friend. My friend Josh got killed by an old man driver about 2 years ago, so i know what you went through. He wasnt my best friend, but he was my friend since elementary school, and we went to the same church.

My prayers for you man, I mean that...

I know no one knows who he is but he was one of my best friends in high school, and I found out last night that he was shot for defending his girlfriend and daughter, I am speechless right now and I just needed to write this down, I mean I just saw him last weekend. Now his one year old daughter will never know her father. http://www.thewarpath.net/images/icons/icon9.gif

I hope no one takes this the wrong way b/c it is meant in the spirit of the thread ...

For all you young guys with kids - BUY LIFE INSURANCE. Term life, 20 years, as much as you can. Keep it paid up. Don't let it lapse. I cannot emphasize this enough!!

You never know when life can be taken from you. You're kids may never know you the way you had hoped, but at least you will know they are provided for.

RIP Donnie & and peace be with his young daughter.
