He did it again last year before the first Dallas game (I think) and we lost the game so he did not do it again. I think he was just going along with the NFL net work having some fun and filling air time in a slow time of the year. I think he just likes having a little fun and the NFL network had this idea and it gives him an excuse to do it again this year. I think if the NFL did not do this we would have seen the end to it this year.

No it wasn't before the dallas game. The last time CP was in costume was Nov. 8/07 before the philly game. Remember Choo-Choo......but I also remember both of these games and the results very clearly. Bottom line we let both these teams off the hook, plain and simple they both got a free pass.

We had dallas in dallas a costly INT at the end of the game on a winning drive in the red zone to win, did us in. The philly game I was at FedEx for that one another forth quarter meltdown, had a nice lead and blew it. Should have won the both those games and been 4-0 against both those teams last year, those are the games we have to see JC take the next step this season (scoring TD's in the red zone).

As CP is quoting below he likes to have fun and I hope he continues to have fun, that usually means GREAT results. Which I believe hes going to have this year. And I don't think the NFL or anyone else had or will have any change in CP plans to continue on with his costume fun.

Clinton Portis was back in costume Thursday, colorfully dressed as a dance instructor named "Choo-Choo."

The Washington Redskins running back wore an orange shirt with sequined and ruffled red, orange and yellow sleeves. Around his neck was a long orange scarf decorated with a huge safety pin. On his head was a black wig with a huge bun on top. He look into cameras through oversized blue-tinted glasses with lavender frames - with a $9.99 price tag still attached.

It's amazing what a slump-ending 196-yard game will do.

"It's a message for the Washington Redskins to go out there and have fun," said Portis, his voice raised an octave or two. "When you have fun, you win."
