KMBR in SF is reporting that the Redskins are about to sign the Raider FA DT away! As anyone heard this? Also the $9ers have been reported into looking at Redskin Damerien McCants after Owens is traded to what looks more and more like the Eagles[hope not]. Sorry guy's it is Rod but there is also a DE on Oakland that is also Coleman with the first name Kenyon!

Refresh my memory. Who is Kenyon Coleman? I'd rather have Robaire Smith.

I really like Darnerien. He seems like a very solid possession receiver to me. He's had a real knack for catching TDs. He also comes across as humble, likeable, smart, and hard-working. Evidently, Snyder and Gibbs pledged to match any offers on him as an RFA, so I hope we are able to keep him.

I;ve never heard of kenyon coleman but I know they had a rod coleman and he would be an awesome addition to our d-line. he's had somewhere near 25 sacks if I remember right over the last three years.

Plus McCants has gone on record that he wants to stay here and play for Gibbs. You can't beat that! If the Niners want to deal for him, fine. But don't just let him go for nothing.

Yeah, we should have pony'ed up that 1.5 mil or whatever for McCants so at least if we lost him to someone, we could have gotten a 1st outta it. McCants seems like a true Redskin, and I'd take that over anything right now. I pray he stays, I think he will, I dont see anyone making some outrageous offer that we cant match.

NY Post seem to be fairly sure that Raiders DT Rod Coleman is likely to sign with the Giants.

Damn! Oh well, Griffin is a better pickup. Coleman is very good at rushing the passer, but according to reports that I've read, he's not an every-down DT. We need a solid DT who can stuff the run, not just one that is a nickel DT who wears out after 2 quarters of play.
