My wife is applying to PA schools north of Chicago (actually closer to the Wisconsin border) and in Iowa City. I haven't visited either place yet and am curious to know what to expect. Man everybody says Chicago sucks. A friend grew up there and says he'll never move back. Evidently the campus is over an hour north of the city. My wife says it's nothing like Chicago and actually pretty nice (she's been there twice now). What do mean about Portland and contractors?
