Incredible pictures of one of Earth's last uncontacted tribes firing bows and arrows | Mail Online (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1022822/Incredible-pictures-Earths-uncontacted-tribes-firing-bows-arrows.html)
Anyone else see this? Actually pretty cool. I assumed that the world (the land portions) were pretty well explored by now.

How do you now have contact with the outside world these day? But it was pretty cool to see there reaction to a plane.

The Washington Post had a fascinating article back in January about a lone survivor of a tribe
And Then There Was One (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/08/AR2008010803472_pf.html)
There was video also, but I don't find that now

Pretty amazing. I hope they continue to live undisturbed. To think they have had the same unchanged culture for 10,000 years is awesome.

So it turned out this was short of a hoax, in that these people were a known tribe.

I think their body paint and reactions to the plane or chopper is still pretty amazing. I think it shows that even if they have had contact with the outside world, it hasn't effected them too much.
I love watching shows about these kinds of tribes, but at the same time I'd be happy to never see one about some of these people in the hopes that they can live the way they choose for as long as possible.
