Where you hate your job so much that you just want to pull your hair out and run out of the building screaming?! That's how I've been feeling lately. Big ups for Friday!

Just one week? I swear I went through like three weeks straight --straight-- just like that.

With me, I think it's just the state of the economy. Things that normally work out....no longer are. Harder to generate business. The good money is gone(for now). Financial stress is taking it's toll.........no doubt.
I don't hate my job. I hate how hard I have to stretch at the moment to achieve so little

Quoted for truth.

Summertime for my family is usually surrounded with nights at the softball field, weekends at the beach, and sidetrips here and there. This summer, we're going to have to cut back tremendously because of the price of gas and food. This time last summer, it was costing me no more than $60 to fill my SUV. Now it's going to be $80+, and since our 2nd car is too small (Honda Civic) for long car trips, we'll be cutting our traveling in half. $20 more doesn't seem like much, but if we're filling up the truck 4-5 times/month, that's an extra $100, meaning that's $100 less for a long weekend trip.

Hopefully after Memorial Day weekend, the gas starts to steadily come back down a bit before leveling off for the summer.

I've had a great week. Of course, I've been off from work since Tuesday. Doing some spring cleaning and stuff. This is the first year I've used a pressure washer and my back is feelin it big time.

As far as my job goes, I love it. There's very little stress and no pressure. I have to deal with the occasional knucklehead from time to time, but other than that, I have no complaints.

I've only been at this job for 6 months and I'm already starting to think about looking elsewhere.

One thing that annoys me is that my friend has what sounds like an awesome job doing market research for a couple of movie studios and she says I should send her my resume, but that's back in DC. I just moved to Baltimore from the suburbs of DC!!! Then again, my lease is up in September and I still don't know if I'm going to renew or look someplace else, so maybe that's my chance...

I've just had one of those weeks where it seems like it's just problem after problem, and everything needs to be done yesterday. Typically I don't stress about work too much and I'm good at leaving it at the office when I go home. But this week I just dread coming to work and I hate it when I feel like that.

I wish I had one of those sometimes! But they don't issue those to non-sworn personnel. :(

The knuckleheads I get are the ones who become belligerent when I tell them they're denied from owning firearms. Those people scare me sometimes. I've often thought about how I would escape if one of them came back to the office to try to assault me.

That's exactly how I was about 6 weeks before I was told the client was taking me off my last contract...always wondering what more was facing me the next day, or if something I was told was fine, really wasn't. It mad sucks. But the nice thing is...it's Friday, and when Monday rolls around, it's a new week.

Fortunately for me, the company I work for found a place for me on the Corporate side, and ever since then, my commute has been non-existant (110 miles round trip to 3 miles round-trip) and my stress level has been the lowest it's been in a long time. They're going to pay for me to get my MCITP (Server Administration) and any other training I can squeeze in as well, while working on Corporate inter and intra websites. Now if I can only find my wife a job in Frederick...
