Minus Matty and pfunk, I am unsure of why people dislike this guy so much. I thought he was a riot on SNL, and I loved fever pitch.
I'm not saying he's a stud or anything, but just unsure why people dislike him.

I think of Jimmy Fallon and all I can think of is Family Guy. That episode where Meg loses her virginity to him. But then she realizes she's on camera and part of a skit when Fallon turns to the camera and says "Live from New York..."

Then Meg goes crying to her parents, so Peter finds Fallon and starts pounding him and says something like ""Hey Fallon, say godnight ya' bum. This is for laughing and ruining every sketch you've ever been in." Then he turns to Meg and says "Now where's the bastard who broke your heart?"

HAHA! Great call. I love that episode.

Ever seen the movie Taxi?

I actually liked that movie!

Granted, it wasn't laugh out loud funny or anything but when they play it on FX I'll watch it.

To me Fallon comes across as the class clown in senior year or freshman year of college; Getting drunk and telling jokes he thinks is hilarious and everyone else is ready to stand up and punch him in the face.

I don't like him too much. I put him in the category of, "Bearable in small doses".

I think I've been living under a rock. I had no clue that O'Brien was taking over the Tonight Show.

IMO Jimmy Fallon is overrated. His fake laugh doesn't seem genuine, his hair annoys me, and he was just lucky to have musical talent and have taken over Adam Sandler's role on SNL.
Ditto on both points. Does he do any writing? Conan was pretty bad as a personality at the outset, but he knows funny, which helped him come into his own.

I smell disaster Fallon isn't remotely funny, please don't give him his own show!

What a funny coincidence! That episode is on right now on Adult Swim. Who do you think you are Fallon, Carol Burnett??

I keep trying to envision him doing a monologue of even three jokes and it doesn't seem like a great idea.

Jimmy Fallon was the best they could do? Captain Ahab is funnier than Jimmy Fallon.
