I wonder what his role in the whole act was, was he with them in the house or what? If he was then why did it take this long to get him?

Even when the execution of minors was possible there were only three states (Texas, Oklahoma, and Virginia if memory serves) that had actually executed a minor in recent memory. 5-4 Supreme Court Abolishes Juvenile Executions (washingtonpost.com) (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A62584-2005Mar1.html) Stuck in TX 05-14-2008, 01:17 PM The Supreme Court has already ruled that it is unconstitutional to execute anyone for a crime committed while they were a minor, so the death penalty was never a possibility for the shooter, Eric Rivera, (17 at the time) or this individual (who is apparently 16). Costs of the Death Penalty (http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/article.php?did=108) You gotta be kidding me?? Not trying to turn this into a political debate but when you kill someone in cold blood you should be thrown into a alligator pit and it should be broadcasted on pay per view. Do away with all of this bullshit appeal nonsense. I bet that would stop all of this gun violence. SC Skins Fan 05-14-2008, 01:20 PM You gotta be kidding me?? I actually know a guy who was coerced into confessing to a murder that he did not commit (DNA evidence proved as much). He was serving a life sentence. He was exonerated after spending 10 years in prison. Lord knows what would have happened to him had he been given a death sentence. The death penalty needs to be scrutinized and most states need to revise their death penalty "systems." Cases like this are not really all that uncommon.
