For anyone who may not know a tornado touched down in the Suffolk area of Virginia last Tuesday. This was about 1/2 mile from my home and while we where OK a bunch of people lost their home and/or buisnesses. The Beach Blitz is held about 30min. from Suffolk and they are donating the proceeds from their auction to the tornado victims. They have already donated $10,000 to the Suffolk Tornado fund which is one of the largest donations received. I just thought everyone should know what DS has done for our area because it probably is just local news here.

I'm not surprised Snyder has done this. Guy seems to have a big heart. Glad to see someone helping Suffolk area. Couldn't believe Suffolk/Driver area didn't qualify for Federal aid.

I saw that and I would be there but I'm out of town for my daughters graduation. I did help out some in Driver which is pretty much all cleaned up.
