Bears cut Adam ArchuletaJoeRedskin 08-31-2008, 01:28 PM So, how about the other big FA bust - Did B. Lloyd make somebody's final roster? JoeRedskin 08-31-2008, 01:33 PM Clifford Russell cut by Broncos - Hello CFL JoeRedskin 08-31-2008, 01:38 PM Just found the answer to my own question: B. Lloyd - Starting WR for the Bears. (opposite M. Booker). Wow. - Average PPG for the Bears? The over/under starts at 7. Average RPG (Raps Per Game) for the Bears: 9.2 riggins44 08-31-2008, 01:53 PM Wow! B. Lloyd starting for Bears. 4thGenRedskin21 09-01-2008, 12:09 AM B.Lloyd starting for the bears is about par with the bears offense.. They are about as potent as dirt weed. They are better off letting Devin Hester be a WR and just chuck and pray, because Lloyd isnt going to do SHIT Ruhskins 09-01-2008, 02:39 AM Well it sounds like his football days are over finally...? Cut by the traiders as predicated, thats as low as a NFL career can go.....I think? Um I think John Lynch getting cut by the Pats is the lowest. I mean a team that thrives on getting the most out of old defensive players couldn't keep his career going. skinsfan_nn 09-01-2008, 10:19 AM Um I think John Lynch getting cut by the Pats is the lowest. Kind of hard to even put those two players in the same sentence. Ruhskins 09-01-2008, 02:32 PM Last time I checked John has had a great NFL career. Then you have AA..... Kind of hard to even put those two players in the same sentence. You're right, however Junior Seau also had a great career and I don't think he was cut by the Pats. Regardless, I found it shocking that the Pats couldn't use Lynch, given how they have used other old players, which definitely means that he is done. doughtydoubter 09-01-2008, 10:51 PM Brandon llyod has actually looked pretty good this preseason...shame he never worked. AS far as adam goes...good riddance..the nfl doesnt need him anymore. sportscurmudgeon 09-01-2008, 11:09 PM Would not be shocked if John Lynch was resigned by the Pats next week. There is this wrinkle in the CBA about "vested veterans" and them getting a full yaar's salary guaranteed if they are on a team's roster the night before the team's opening game. I suspect the Pats don't want to guarantee Lynch's money for the whole year - - no matter what. |
