I can see him in Arena Football. Dude can hit, but he cant run. If he was about 100lbs heavier he would be a decent linebacker. Maybe with a shorter feild we wont have to run as fast or he can play Jack LB. Those guys play horizontally instead of vertically. He could be good at that.

Didn't the also pick up his 6mil. contract and saved us from taking the hit on our cap? For once we got the better of the deal in a trade.

Yeah they did take a big hit off our hands. It was $5 mil, but who's counting. That deal was a friggin coup for us.

LOL, that just made my day. To bad we couldn't get a 6 round pick and have them take the cap hit too.

Good guy, but time to hang it up. And, I don't remember who said it, but we do not need to bring him back here. I think our special teams is just fine without him. We don't need to spend a bunch of money on a guy to play special teams again. Good luck finding a new team, Archuleta.

Has anyone been paying any attention to doman29's posts?
Let's run through some of the opinions he posted since joining
-Bring Adam Archuleta back to compete for a safety spot
-Trade Betts to Detroit. Pick up Shaun Alexander or Kevin Jones
-Goof Ball Gibbs ruined this team (along with Spurrier) trading for useless players such as...Adam Archuleta
-Give LaVar a camp invite
-Why not LeMar Marshall too
-While we're at it, sign Trotter to a vet min deal or give him a 2 year deal
Fascinating
Fascinating? That's a generous adjective for his posts.
I wonder if he'll suggest Jesse Armstead next. Bring back the 2001 linebacking corps... LOL!

Archuleta is not a starting caliber safety, but he's still a serviceable backup. I would guess that Chicago cut Arch for two reasons (1) he isn't a starter and (2) he was being paid like a starter. My guess is he lands somewhere as a #2 SS at the vet. min.

Arch is one of my top suspects as a player who was on the juice until he got his big contract and then figured why chance it and stopped sprinkling HGH in his scrambled eggs. Just a hunch, but can anyone else explain why he went from very fast when he was drafted all the way to the opposite end of the spectrum of being too slow to be a full time starter?
