I agree. Before I start getting all up in arms over it, let's see if it's a trend...

If not, oh well. it's done.

A liitle dissappointed at first but now what's done is done. Let's try to be a little more accountable now that your in the Big League, Fred.

Who here hasn't overslept for something? It was probably just a mistake. Maybe he power blinked, maybe his alarm clock turned off, etc. Now days it's easy to mix up AM/PM on your clock. It happens, unfortunately.

He better be trying extra hard during training camp to get out of the doghouse.

This should make his contract negotiations a snap.

Hey it could be worst, he could be sitting out b/c of contract dispute. While it is not a good way to start things out, worst things could happen.

Hopefully just a one time innocent mistake.

Wait a minute. The knock on him in the draft was that he was lazy and missed team meetings, I wish I could find the exact quote. Good to see that concern was completely off base. Yeah, we've all overslept, but this was what, his second day on the job? In the NFL? Maybe Tyler Ecker tripped the fuse to his clock/radio.

I oversleep all the time so I forgive him.

Come on, there is no rookie in the history of the league stupid enough to intentionally miss their first practice. My point being that it is safe to assume this was just a stupid foul up on Davis's part and not indicative of a lack of respect for hard work anything like that. If anything he has a chip on his shoulder now that should motivate him to work even harder.
