Honestly I could give a rats ass about QB rating. Eli Manning has a below average QB rating but he has a ring. In 06 Brunell had a nice QB rating but he was a below average NFL QB. So who the hell cares? JC has a ways to go. We all know that. But Collins is not a 16 game starter in the NFL. Is JC? We don't know yet. The jury is still out on him. GhostSkins 05-10-2008, 09:26 PM GhostSkin - look at Hasselbacks stats his 2nd year - they were alot better then Campbells. Campbell has show no improvement from one year to the next. I want a guy who can do better then 7 - 12 as a starter. I stand corrected... Hasselbeck yr 2 Comp Per: 52.6% Yards: 104 TDs:1 Ints:0 Hasselbeck's numbers absolutely blew JC's measley numbers out the window in his second year. Now if you were talking about Hasselbeck's 4th year Then I say that would be an acurate time to assess Cambell's future with the team, 3 years as starter, two in the same offense and two under Zorn's tutelage...say in 2010. goredskins1983 05-11-2008, 01:25 AM enough with the hasselbeck comparison. its closer to heath shuler the washington press (confirmed by Gibbs at the Monday press conference) said campbell cried after he threw the pick at the end of the dallas game in dallas, and the cowboys media had a field day with it. its actualy embarassing. show some leadership, dont cry. skinsfan_nn 05-11-2008, 02:49 AM enough with the hasselbeck comparison. its closer to heath shuler the washington press (confirmed by Gibbs at the Monday press conference) said campbell cried after he threw the pick at the end of the dallas game in dallas, and the cowboys media had a field day with it. its actualy embarassing. show some leadership, dont cry. So your concerned about the dallas media? Who gives two shits about the dallas media or any other media for that matter, and for the record I remember the game with fine detail and the post coverage and don't recall anything but the fact JC got emotional from multiple media outlets that this kid has character and heart and really wants to win and as a young QB in this league puts alot of fault on himself, especially after a bad play that potentially cost us the game. And you find that embarrassing, for what logical reason? And so as I try to understand what I find to be a retarded post on your behalf you for what reason find fault in a young QB that just feels like he let his teammates, coaching staff and fans down showing emotion as a lack of leadership? Do you for some reason think this is the first time something of this nature has happened? From what I've seen on this board the few posts you do have just on this thread your an expert at crying! IMO you have tunnel vision and your football knowledge is very limited to say the least! goredskins1983 05-11-2008, 10:07 AM well your right, he did let the down. there has been too much of that. but according to some people, he is the next brett farve.....um ok... you say this is a retarded post because im upset with the starting QB and his 7 - 12 record as a starter? last year the Skins inserted another QB and he goes 4 -1... what am I missing here? but im retarded and have limited football knowledge? lol if your happy with a losing record, go cheer for Detroit Redskins8588 05-11-2008, 11:13 AM well your right, he did let the down. there has been too much of that. but according to some people, he is the next brett farve.....um ok... you say this is a retarded post because im upset with the starting QB and his 7 - 12 record as a starter? last year the Skins inserted another QB and he goes 4 -1... what am I missing here? but im retarded and have limited football knowledge? lol if your happy with a losing record, go cheer for Detroit Is that the same reaction that you would have had if you were a colts fan and when Peyton Manning went 5-14 in his first 19 games? I am not saying that Campbell is on the same level or even close to Peyton Manning, what I am saying is that only to base your judgment on the first 19 games is stupid. Give the kid a chance and see what he can become when he has a credited QB coach. You never know, you just might be surprised... SC Skins Fan 05-11-2008, 11:27 AM well your right, he did let the down. there has been too much of that. but according to some people, he is the next brett farve.....um ok... you say this is a retarded post because im upset with the starting QB and his 7 - 12 record as a starter? last year the Skins inserted another QB and he goes 4 -1... what am I missing here? but im retarded and have limited football knowledge? lol if your happy with a losing record, go cheer for Detroit Well, the other problem with you that has doubtlessly rubbed people the wrong way is that you come on the board spewing vitriol and have taken 26 posts to say exactly the same thing (and hijacked two separate threads to say the exact same thing). Branch out dude, I realize there isn't much going on right now, but I think you've made your point on how you feel on Campbell. We'll revisit the point next season and see what the score is, but right now all you do is keep repeating W/L's (and as others have pointed out, Hasselbeck was 10-12 through 22 games, Peyton Manning was 5-14, so maybe - just maybe - QB isn't the end of the story) and QB Rating. Point made, let's let it play out and why don't you branch out beyond the Campbell bashing - point made. goredskins1983 05-11-2008, 12:25 PM very well, time will tell. I hope I am wrong. and I would like nothing more then to beat the PISS out of Giants opening night! Swarley 05-11-2008, 11:29 PM that the spirit my friend! |
