If this had been a year ago, I would've said poor Iffy but I think Dennis Green has got that program moving in the right direction.

Bowen and Lott have been starting. Lott will be moved down to second string.

Bowen is pretty much entrenched at his safety spot

I was one of the guys really banging the drum for Matt Bowen when he came in here but I think Iffy is the better player and the only reason Bowen is still here is cos we gave him a ridiculous contract for an unproven (1 play-off game aside) player.

Iffy didn't do anything this preseason to justify a roster spot much less a starting job.

He didn't dispute the fact that he and the coaches didn't see eye to eye.

I don't understand why people have such a soft spot for this guy, he really isn't anything special. Neither is Bowen, don't get me wrong I'd like to see him out the door too if he doesn't step up.

Im not sure why so many people have a soft spot for him, but youre right, they definitly do. Mabye its his name, mabye its becuae he was a no name (no pun intended) that ended up starting, ala stephen davis.

Last year we were comparing his play to bowens. And both look decent up next to each other. Taylor is just making them both like like crap and puts a whole different light on their play.
