With only five (six before Kansas City acquired Detroit’s pick) of the first 15 picks, it was bound to be an uphill climb in the draft for NFC teams this year. But the two best classes featured different strategies: one team that moved up for two first-round picks (Carolina), and another that traded out of the first round altogether (Washington).

I just came on here to post the same report/ although I was going to put it in the draft grade post, after reading it on Yahoo and you beat me to it. Nice to know we were one of only two teams to get an A rating in the NFC. I have also heard on several other news outlets us/skins being rated high. I think we should all be happy!

What crack are you smoking? You're happy because some dipshit says the Redskins had a good draft? How about 10 picks and MAYBE one guy makes the roster? This will go down as one of the worst drafts in Redskins history. Wait until September and see how many of these losers make the roster...it will be one. And don't even get me started on drafting a punter that no one wanted. We could have signed him as a FA for nuttin. Cerrato is an idiot. Get rid of him asap.

If we would have drafted Tom Brady in the sixth back in the day, I bet you'd be just as pissed as you are now. Instead of being negative about the draft, in every draft thread why don't you calm down and give them a chance? At least remain 50/50 on the picks, they haven't even went to camp yet, and you've already sentenced them to death.

Is that the best you can do to explain why you think our draft was so bad. Well you might be correct about the punter but we will never know.

Saying one player makes this team is ridiculous. The Redskins had a great draft, they got four players that were easily in the top 3 of their particular position on almost every board. We got two bigger WRs, a stud TE for 2 TE sets, a great punter, and some great depth. What didn't we get? Maybe Calais Campbell? I wanted him too, but it wasn't in the cards. I don't think our Dline is terrible by any means, but we could use some help.
The reason you draft a punter there is so you don't HAVE to compete with other teams. That's the point of drafting these players, having exclusive rights to a certain player. I would love to have a punter booming them for 10 years. I'd love a good kicker too.

My 14 yr. old makes more reasonable arguments than this. You'll be the first one jumping up and high-fiving when Thomas or Kelly scores or the punter kid blasts one 70 yds. Get a grip, you're making yourself sound real bad.
