81forHOF 04-27-2008, 07:20 PM Damn! Miami just took my pick. jsarno 04-27-2008, 07:22 PM Never heard of this guy...but hey, it's not hard to make our roster as a DE, we are weak. Hopefully he will surprise some people. SmootSmack 04-27-2008, 07:23 PM ESPN and NFL.com both don't have any profiles on Jackson, sorry guys. SI.com - 2008 NFL Draft - Rob Jackson (http://images.cnnsi.com/football/2008/draft/players/57355.html) Seems like a poor-man's Chris Wilson to me. But check out the projection SmootSmack 04-27-2008, 07:25 PM Another WR drafted by the Bengals. Just what CJ was complaining about. EARTHQUAKE2689 04-27-2008, 07:25 PM Is Darrell Robertson still available??? MTK 04-27-2008, 07:25 PM SI.com - 2008 NFL Draft - Rob Jackson (http://images.cnnsi.com/football/2008/draft/players/57355.html) Seems like a poor-man's Chris Wilson to me. But check out the projection LOL hopefully that projection was a typo Darrell_Green_28 04-27-2008, 07:26 PM what about Ali Highsmith is he still available? Would Definitely be a steal if we got him with our last pick 81forHOF 04-27-2008, 07:26 PM ESPN and NFL.com both don't have any profiles on Jackson, sorry guys. Sporting News Draft Guide says: Strengths - Never stops hustling and loves the game. Shows good all around skills. Is quick and agile. Gets back into plays even when blocked initially. Weakness - Lacks elite physical qualities in any are. needs to work on lower body strength to become a solid run stopper. must improve ability to fight off blocks and and learn to read plays better. Bottom Line - Jackson, a junior college transfer, was a solid pass rusher in the big 12. He is ideally suited to be a back up DE in a 3-4 scheme but must add 15 -20 lbs for the role. Soup's Uncle 04-27-2008, 07:26 PM SI.com - 2008 NFL Draft - Rob Jackson (http://images.cnnsi.com/football/2008/draft/players/57355.html) Seems like a poor-man's Chris Wilson to me. But check out the projection If he was a projected second rounder, than this is the steal of the draft. I don't know if I believe that though. Big C 04-27-2008, 07:30 PM we have drafted a lot of former juco guys |
