Sooo....I guess the happy medium is to show up but try to "sit out" with an injury? LOL. In essence he has done what he said he would do but ....not done what he said he would do. ...I'm confused. Anyway as much as I wanted him and think he would make our team better we don't need someone who is undecided.

I thought that was a rather eloquent 2000th actually. And yes, enough about Johnson.

Lets find a slogan for him....."Your footBALLS will always make the endzone with a "Big Johnson."

You can say what you want about chad but the fact is he's 30+ years old with a shitty team that will take at least 2 or 3 years to get back to where it was in 05. So you can hate chad johnson all you want but the fact of the matter is he wants a superbowl, along with every other player. The average career in the league is 2 years, and the average career span for superstars is about 10 - 12. People dont last forever in the league, and when you hate on someone for trying to get to the superbowl while he's in his prime is a fucking joke. whatever

I still don't understand why Cincy didn't trade him. They had a mediocre draft, which would have been much better had they traded him for a first rounder or multiple later rounders. I don't know why teams insist on keeping players than don't want to play for them. When teams have no use for a player they cut them, and there's never an outcry from the fans about the team not honoring the contract. Likewise, players that don't want to play for a team (which as much as an a-hole Johnson is, he is right by wanting to get the hell out of Cincy) should be able to leave. I mean would any of us have liked if the Skins kept Lloyd? Archuleta? L. Coles? Granted that Archuleta and Coles sucked, but still the idea is to let players who want to leave the team, leave (and with Coles we got compensation in the way of S. Moss).

you really are living in fantasy land. with Johnson it is about one thing, and that one thing is money. the guy could give 2 shits about winning. he proved that a couple of seasons ago. the Bengals were a playoff team, with a great offense. and all he was worried about was getting paid. so don't give me that line of shit about him wanting to win
