Ah I see your point now, and yes you are right.. Boldin did request for trade (in this term, yes he did complain) however what he did was right.. He went to his coach and team and told them that he wants to be traded.. He did not what CJ did, he went to media and told people that he wants to be traded.. Am I not wrong?

So are you saying that it's "wrong" for anyone to want to be traded out from a team?

Take TO as an example, he blamed McNabb and complained to media.. Randy Moss, he plays when he feels like it and he does not watch what he says to the media.. Well at least until he became a Patriots..

As Daseal said, CJ didn't go running to the media first.

And no I'm not saying it's wrong for anyone to want to be traded. I have no problem with what either Boldin or Johnson have done. The NFL is a cut throat business. Either of those guys could be cut today by their teams, so why not look out for themselves.

Whether or not "complain" is the right word, they are both demanding a trade. Just because CJ is "louder" about it doesn't mean it's worse, in my opinion.

I find it very interesting how if a player asks to be cut or traded people get up in arms about how they signed a contract. Didn't the team sign the same contract when they're cutting players because they're due to make too much money? No one complains about that or talks about how the team is whining. Both sides break contracts, the difference is players cant do it on a whim so they have to exercise all their options in order to get out.

boldin is a good #1, but with injury issues.

a #1 would be alright, but no conditional like with CJ (who's a bit better and injured a lot less).

I question any player that demands a trade unless the player truly feels that his team has screwed him over with false promises, like Pete Kendall. I'm really not sure about Boldin. I think he plays very well with a chip on his shoulder but I wonder if he'll continue to play with such a high motor after he receives his recognition...$$$.

I say let Mix have a chance to be our Boldin/Colston.

Boldin has had a few really big years (http://www.nfl.com/players/anquanboldin/careerstats?id=BOL283010), in 2005 he had 102 catches for 1,402 yards, I'm sure he could handle being the #1 option.

that's bull though, cause he was the #1 his rookie year and almost hit 1400 yards.

he's not only a #1, but he's a very good #1. He's much better than roy williams when he's not injured.

I was watching Sportscenter before, and Mortensen said that we offered a trade for Boldin (they didn't have any details on what we offered) and the Cardinals rejected that too.
