Congrats!
Redskins Nation is growing; my sister just had my first niece on Tuesday. You better believe I'm getting her a Redskins cheerleader outfit. I'd get her one now but I don't think they make them for 2.5lb babies (she was 2 months early but she's doing really well).

Hey she wouldn't happen to have been born at Holy Cross would she ?

That's weird, because I was going to ask you the same thing about your son!!! Yeah, she's at HC, and I may have talked to you for a quick second in the hall on Tuesday when you were taking your son for a walk.

Holy Shit,... ooops I have to work on my cursing. Yep, that was me dead tired walking him around cause he started crying on the way back. You guys kept that room packed too! I remember there were a couple of guys out there. Were you the tall guy with the blue shirt, or the guy with a Red Sox hat on ? I think it was a Red Sox hat. I caught the weight because one of the ladies told me that the girl they were going to see was 2.5 lbs. How is she doing ?

That's so crazy! My mom and sister were gushing over your son, and we were saying how you and my brother-in-law both had the biggest smiles we've ever seen. It's seriously a small world.
I was wearing a red Caps shirt (which has been bad luck) and a Nationals hat. We were all out in the hall because the nurse had to check some stuff and my sister needed privacy. ANd you're right, we did keep that room a little too crowded; we have a huge family and everyone wanted to see the baby.

She's doing really well. She's still tiny and she's going to be at HC for awhile, but she already seems feisty.

Congrats again on your son. Hopefully his first words will be Hail To The Redskins!

AMD - glad to hear your niece is doing well. We spent a short time in the NICU with our first kid, and they are some of the most dedicated and caring people in the world. I'm sure she is in good hands.

Then that must have been your brother in law that I spoke to in the hallway. Okay I think that I remember you now. It must have been the Nationals hat that you had on. Tell them I said thank you, he stays up all night long. I don't think it was too crowded, family comes out for babies. I'm still smiling now, and I'm sure your brother -in-law is too. Well my family will keep her in our prayers, keep us posted !

That it has dmek! I should've taken advantage of all those hours that I had to sleep that I decided to use staying up to watch t.v. Or to play another game of Madden. Ahhh, that wonderful time in which we allow our bodies time to recoup all of the energy that we've used during the day, how I miss thee.

I know the feeling. Back in this thread I mentioned a book baby wise and gave you a link. I was not joking and you need to pick this up soon and have your wife read it. It works and in a couple of months you will have the baby sleeping throughout the night. It will make you and your wifes life much easier over the next year or so. I'm not a book person but this one works.
