Congrats, I have a 15 month old and it really changes your life. I do have one recommendation. Get the book Baby Wise and have your wife read it today. My wife read the book and used what she learned and what they suggest really does work. My child has been sleeping through the night sense 3 months old the key was gettin her in a routine which they explain how to do. Everyone I know which has used this book will tell you that it really works. We have two friends which used this with their secone child and they both say it made a world of difference. It makes life on the parents much easier. Here is a link to the book I'm talking about and you can probably get it at your local book store. Thanks guys. I could see how happy guys were here when announcing their new arrival and I couldn't wait to do the same. He is our first child too JoeRedskin. It really is wild because everything does shift a bit.
I'm about to order that book now firstdown because he sleeps during the day more so than at night.
Once again I sincerely appreciate all the words as well as the advice that you all gave.
Last but not least,... HAIL TO THE REDSKINS !!!

I'm sure myself and others here, could tell you stories about raising kids. Do yourself a favor and write down some of the moments and memories. That would be something
you and your son will have some great laughs over in years to come.

Congrats!
Redskins Nation is growing; my sister just had my first niece on Tuesday. You better believe I'm getting her a Redskins cheerleader outfit. I'd get her one now but I don't think they make them for 2.5lb babies (she was 2 months early but she's doing really well).
