I don't have any personal ill will towards the guy but I couldn't care any less about him.

I don't think people realize how clueless Norv was as a "leader" on that team. And I say this having thought over the past several years that he was overruled on Galloway. Norv, nice guy but just clueless

Interesting article on Westbrook. I had often wondered what he was doing with his life now that he's out of Football.

He sounds like a man at peace with himself, a man blessed with immense talent that didn't want to neccessarily aply it all to the game of Football. If he's happy in what he's doing, then I guess that's all that really matters.

Just curious. Is he considered any less clueless as a head coach now?

Not 100% sure. I mean I haven't dealt with him in nearly a decade

I am glad he is happy and doing something he is truly passionate about.

Yeah.....beating people up is fun. I wonder what is fighting personality is. Is he more like Miage or the leader of the Cobra Kai's? My money's on the guy from the Cobra's

I hate to sound childish but he has to be gay.
Not that I care what his sexual preference is, Let me just point out a few things:

There is not a straight man on the planet that will go to the lengths MW has to prove he is not gay.

He showed no remorse for punching S.Davis in the face repeatedly, He was more concerned with what the media perceived happened which was that S.Davis said he was gay.
also, He has to mention that his EX-Girlfriend was outraged when she heard the rumor last year. Who in the hell brings up their exgirlfriend in an interview that is completely unrelated?

another thing, He doesn't like the nfl lifestyle which consist of money, fame and women. He would rather roll around on a mat with a grown man.

I bet you he has a teacup chihuahua named Caligula and a Poodle name Hefner.

I'm sorry but as a top notch armchair lawyer, your case is circumstantial at best.

As far as dogs go, well according to Cesar Milan (the dog whisper) says the type of dog a person owns is a reflection of their personallity, in otherwords when you see a guy walking a dog down the street he's walking himself (Ironically he owns two pit bulls, so I guess he stays true to that belief).

So what happens when a guy is with a girl that owns a poodle, well

1. Maybe he's whipped
2. Maybe he's a good guy wants his wife to be happy
3. Maybe he's 1 and 2
4. Maybe he had an affair and is hoping that the dog will keep his wife distracted long enough so she doesn't notice.

Note: I know you didn't say that Michael Westbrook owned one of those dogs I'm just ranting off topic.

Hmm...well yeah I guess so. Never really thought of it that way.

I always forget if it was Casserly that wanted him or Norv. I know that one wanted Shuler and Galloway, and the other wanted Dilfer and Westbrook.I remember that draft well. Warren Sapp was considered the top pick until marijuana stories came out. I was hoping that he would slip to our spot, and Casserly would take him with the 4th pick. We took Westbrook, and Sapp slid out of the top 10, falling in Tampa's lap.

Great article on Westbrook that confirmed much of what I thought about him - a great athlete with absolutely no passion for football. To me, he's the Jeff George of wide receivers - among the most physically gifted players ever, but completely lacking in the mental makeup necessary to be a great player.

I'm glad that Westbrook found his calling with MMA. If he was 10 years younger, he would probably be a serious contender for a MMA title.
