Any other fans of this show here (the new version, not the '70s version)?

Of course...can't call yourself a geek if you don't watch. I just watched the second episode earlier today. So far so good...it definitely got more interesting with [the killing of Cylons by Cylons].

The interesting thing is the scifi aspect is not really what makes it interesting. It's the politics and current events

You know, how events that occur on the show are not too different from what's happening in real life; suicide bombings, questionable interrogation tactics, human rights trials, "false" religions, insurgents.

Yeah, it pretty much rocks. I'm glad they're bringing it to a resolution this season. It seems most shows like this benefit from ending in 5 seasons or less.

I love the show.

Of course I don't admit that anywhere else but here for the most part. Dwight Schrute being a BSG fan really makes it hard to proudly tell your friends about this cool show that you watch...

Do you plan on watching Caprica? (http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=2&id=35773)
