I find it amazing, and I know we as humans like to think we are the only truely intelligent beings on this planet, but I am certain animals have a lot of intelligence.
I'd like to see this with my own eyes...I just find it fascinating, and if it is doctored, someone did a good job.

The video is real but the elephant has been trained to reproduce this specific image. He doesn't understand what he's drawing and can't draw other things. This is evidence of superior training more than intelligence .

Well I agree with you Jsarno that certain animals our more intelligent than we realize, dolphins for example, I think the ability to create and appreciate art is as uniquely human as it gets.

My dad work's for the company that owns Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey, and we get free tickets, and in the beginning of each show they get an elephant to paint, or draw something, they aren't that bad. So I wouldn't doubt it if it were real.

I actually saw it on the Animal Planet. I doubt the channel would have aired a segment about that project if it was a hoax.
