That was a highly entertaining Q & A. My favorite answer among the personal questions is for favorite meal: filet mignon. But my very favorite is hearing Cooley talk about the safety tandem. I think everybody believes Landry will be a super-star and that we're covered at free. The news on Doughty though is probably more exciting. Kid seemed like such a long shot comin from CO but you just had to root for him cause of the situation w/ his kid. I gotta say I somehow find myself lovin the team more and more when I hear what guys on the team have to say.

Awesome... He seems like such a cool guy to hang out with. Two things stood out to me.
First, despite how much national guys talk about us needing a safety, if Reed Doughty does have a breakout year than not drafting one will look genius.
Second, baseball players laugh at football players salaries. Ouch! I don't follow baseball at all (or really know anyone who does) so I was suprised at how high they had gotten.

By the way thanks for posting the link. I checked out Cooley's site a few weeks ago but then sort of forgot about it.

He answered mine. "Who would win in a tag team match between you and Christy versus Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson. Explain." Didn't think he'd answer that, was maybe thinking he'd laugh. Apologies for not offering something more pertinent.

Yeah, that was awesome and hilarious.
The bit about how confident he is in the skill and development of Laron and Reed was cool, too.
And he's a fan of red wine and beer. Good stuff. He'd probably be fun to party with.

Well in a couple of years when baseball becomes irrelevant because of steroids, being a boring as hell, having 100+ games, and the lack of a salary cap, the football playersn can laugh at the baseball players.
