The New Fuel.....Water?

This cannot be real. If so, how cool is this? The change to the world as we know it would be............unbelievable!!

Very interesting video there. I'm not a science type person so I don't know exactly what to believe, that this is just something that looks possible but might not work out, or if this is something that could change the future of cars as we know it. I think they are onto something there, and if this is the beginning of something major than that's good. I'd like to see this work out for the future so we can stop this heavy reliance on gas. And maybe water prices would rise, but they wouldn't rise to the prices of gas because there is a hell of a lot more water available than there is gas, which is why gas prices are so high.

This the exact reason I support massive directed tax breaks for oil companies to not only encourage them to develop alternate fuels but basically make it stupid for them not to do so.

I am talking about tax breaks specifically directed at alternate fuels. Like a dollar for dollar profit tax for every unit of alternate fuel sold for the next 20 years. Make it so developing alternate fuels and forcing them onto Car companies they only way to stay competitive. Over a long period this would hopefully drive out oil.

But something like this would get no traction because giving oil companies tax breaks is bad politics but it would accelerate our movement from oil exponentially.

I dont think you understand how massive I am talking about. Make them massive enough to force companies to do it. If we get big oil doing it then we'll get there faster. We really will. Otherwise we're fighting big oil the whole way and there is no way around it.

I am not talking about just breaks for research I mean breaks for results. Say for every dollar netted they get a 15 cent CREDIT on their corporate taxes over the next 20 years with a 1 cent a year phase out over the next 15 after that. That gives them time to do the research, build the infrastructure and let the current oil based infrastructure waste away. It builds a new energy solution rather than legislates it which would hopefully make it stronger and ultimately more consumer based in the long run.
