Whoa, what? I thought that this sort of thing was illegal in the US.

Not a clue. I am astounded that such a compound is even able to exist. I also thought that Utah had to discard its beliefs in polygamy to be granted statehood. Well, now I guess not, because there are obviously ways around it.
