I love the last line of that article:
Favre, 38, has yet to give written notice of his retirement to the league or players’ union.

Just in case he is trying to pull a fast one, they can say "We told you so!"

I read yesterday that it is not required to submit retirement papers to the NFL.

I am by no means agreeing with the comment that you need a QB more than we do, however, I do recall you wanting Eli's head on a platter this year. So he makes a good run and helps take the Giants to a Super Bowl win and all is forgiven? How can a man have a punched ticket out of town, then be a hero in the same season?

Look at the Viking game from last year, then look t the last 4 games he played.................that's how.He and Coughlin get a by from me for this year!:)AND there ain't one Skins fan out there that would'nt say the same thing had Campbell and the Skins done the same.

I would welcome Favre back. He is human and I seriously doubt the Packers fans will hold it against him.

Lol, while I agree with the human part, I doubt that the Green and gold faithful would let it slide. They'd eventually forgive him, but at first it would probably be ugly.

I heard a rumor he was just going to become a QB coach although I have no source and was just some guy in my dorm, so its prolly false.
