New movie coming out next week starring George Clooney and Renee Zellweger. But here's something kind of interesting

"the film, which will be released nationwide April 4, is loosely based on Ernie Nevers’ legendary Duluth Eskimos. The team, whose history was chronicled in Duluth News Tribune writer Chuck Frederick’s book “Leatherheads of the North,” was an early precursor to modern-day National Football League franchise the Washington Redskins. (Clooney said he had to call the team the “Duluth Bulldogs” because the NFL objected to players in the film consuming alcohol between games.)"

It's like a Replacements prequel!

LOL that is freakin cool! The NFL doesn't like any movie containing improper publicity. Yet , teams like the niners and players like Pacman do it all the time.

I hate to bring this up again, but this is the same BS that got Playmakers cancelled. That show had the potential to be the only Man Opera that I would ever watch.

Cool I wasn't aware of that. Looks like it might be a good movie.
