Whatever. Your orginal post said one playoff win since Snyder bought the team, and Redskin Rich called you out on it. Getting back to the original theme of this thread, the most ignorant fans are not necessarily the ones who lack knowledge it's the ones who aren't willing to gain any.

Smoot... did you ever attend law school???? Were you on debating team in high school??? :food-smil

I've noticed that, too! A little known fact is that the "Quiet! Offense at Work!" sign came from Indianapolis -- a city that didn't even have pro football until the '80s. Yet, the Indy fans seem to know better about helping out the offense that our fans, even though we've had football since 1937.

Excuse me, Rich, but Snyder took over the team in the middle of the '99 season and didn't start putting his stamp on the team until 2000. So, technically speaking, the Snyder regime started in 2000, not 1999.

You're sinking fast, son. He bought the team in May of 1999.

See.. your wrong

As Smoot said... he purchased the team in May of 99... I will guarantee once his $$ was in... then the buck stopped with him:

Daniel Snyder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Snyder)

Now... how knowledgeable do you look now (not that I am a Einstein... but I am not claiming to be).

Okay, I got the dates and playoff win total wrong. I admit it. But, if you re-read my post, nowhere in there do I say that I, personally, know more than the average Redskins fan. I'm clearly quoting what other fans have said, what I've seen at games I've attended recently and how it, to me, appears to run counter to what announcers have said about the fan base in the past. There's no need to attack me here. We cheer for the same team.

Actually, this topic was started as someone claiming that the average Redskin fan doesn't know as much as they used to... and by you pointing that out to us, you are in fact saying that you know more than the current crop of fans.

Yes, with the spread of the public access via the internet, the people who do not know as much have a larger platform (as has been pointed out)... but your premise indicated that you know more than the current average fan base (or you would not have started this thread)....

This is almost comical now.

Again, if you re-read my post, I NEVER said that I, personally, know more than the current fan base. I'm just sharing observations. I'm not trying to step on anyone toes and I'm not trying to say that I know more than anyone else out there.

So what were you trying to say then in your original post?

Actually... your original post said that some fans make you scratch your head... the entire overall theme was directed that you know more than these people... which is why you started the thread... would you like my attorney Mr. SmootSmack and myself to disect your entire 1st post for you???
