I recommend that you check this interview out. The start of questioning gets really uncomfortable. CJ asks them not to bring up his situation because he has already addressed it enough and the hosts continue to directly bring it up.
Very uncomfortable, at one point, Rod Woodson questions his size saying that he never knew he was that skinny.
At the end CJ does say he wants a change of scenery...hopefully not in DC.

If he continues at this rate the Bengals will be forced to trade soon and for a cheaper price. Well I think that is what his plans are

chances are no matter where he goes he wont produce like he has in the past w/o palmer giving him the ball... i see it ending up like when moss went to the raiders IMO

CJ was producing before Palmer got to Cincy. What you're going to see is TJ Houswhocares is not nearly as good as is stats indicate due to Chad Johnson pulling double coverage. CJ instantly improves any team even if he isn't catching balls. That would leave El/Moss 1v1.

One thing I DID learn today is that Chad Johnson knows nothing about the economy. :biggthump

Neither does our current president Zing!
All joking aside, I wonder if there is enough leadership within the Redskins to keep CJ in line if he were to come here. I mean if we were to get him cheap (a lower pick other than our 1st round) why not? I know Lloyd was a headcase, but he didn't produce much before getting here, whereas with CJ you're getting a guy that producess 1000+ yd season, and even if he doesn't produce much, like someone said earlier, he would open up the field for Santana and ARE.

i have this odd feeling that we might see something on draft day happen w/ CJ & the skins. He wants out bad....we need-want a WR. I know what all of the Bengals FO are saying but i still think they are shopping him. Who knows maybe someone can steal him for a decent price?
Whether you like him or not the facts are the facts. We need a WR, he wants out of Cincy, his agent is close to us, and he has friends here. It makes too much sense.

If we would have to trade a 2nd rounder and a 6th for him, I would do it in a heartbeat. You have a proven 1000+ yards guy. He has a huge desire to win. He is entertaining to boot. I do not get why anyone would not want him. He is not that big of a distraction, like TO is. This is the first time he has acted out like this wanting a trade, and I do not blame him. The Bengals were moving up and took a huge step back last year, he wants to win as he only has a few more years left.
I would welcome Ocho Cinco here and be one of the first to buy myself an 85 Johnson jersey....
Hope to see Chad in the B&G... Hail

Acquiring CJ would defeat our new offseason strategy. We need to start developing our own players with our early draft picks. Then our coaching staff can do its job by molding the younger players into our scheme.
It a long hard road to walk and you can't trade or spend your way to the end of it.

All you see if the finish product though. You see me trash talking and then you see the finish product, you dont see all the work that was put into prior to that. I'm on the fence, and I think its funny he told them that he would "blow primetime u if he came out there with his legs all open" and he said this to Woodson " See, thats the thing you people dont know. I study my opponents, I know everything they are bad at, and everything they are good at. Rod, I woulda studied your film all the way back to your rookie year.
TO me, chad johnson has a GREAT work ethic and that just shows you how much he wants to win he will study his opponents every move and he will know what to exploit and what to not even try.
