I hope he goes and gets overpayed by the Panthers, he would be nice to have, but he's not worth going into a bidding war for.

I don't think $2 to $3 million for a one year contract is overpaying him. According to Rotoworld, that's the type of money he's looking for at this point.

I've got my fingers crossed he comes here.

I really don't see him signing with us. I think he will stay in Seattle.

I'm not a huge fan, but signing him would free us up to take care of more needs in the draft.

I really thought Tampa would step it up for him. Any word from them? They have the cap space.

which is exactly why we should all hope he comes here. receivers take too long to develop. we can draft at other positions and find at least a couple players who can make significant impacts right now.

even if we draft limas sweed in the 1st round, it could be 2 years before it starts to pay off.

That's basiaclly where I fall. He is a perfect FA acquisition for whoever gets him. he has some talent and wont cost a ton. He is probably better than every WR in the draft except 3 or 4 in the end so there is no bust factor with him basically. We just need so much more than a WR from the draft Our lines could use complete attention. Take all linemen this year and I'd be happy. I know we need a CB but other than that I'd lvoe to see us go overboard on the lines in a perfect world.
