How Much would You Give for Fabian Washington?

First of all, I have no idea if the Raiders are even putting Fabian Washington on the trading block. This scenario is purely hypothetical at this point. Assuming they did, what would you be willing to offer (playing the Cerrato role) in compensation for a 4th year CB at age 25 with first round skills who just may be coming into his own?

I might be willing to deal the 3rd rounder for this guy, assuming we receive the compensatory 3rd round pick.

I'd rather draft our own DB personally. Plus I think he's got domestic battery charges hanging over him. Who know what will happen with that (both in the court of law and the court of Goodell)

I definately would not want to find myself in a bidding war for his services. His skill set is not a particularly hard one to find. I just think, at this point, he's the best CB who can be had at a reasonable price.

I'd be cool with drafting our own DB also, so long as we get our guy.

I don't know much about Washington, but I do know that the Raiders are talking about trading for Deangelo Hall. It doesn't seem like they'd trade an early 2nd round pick for Hall if they were happy with Washington.

No more than a 5th. No doubt he is talented, but not something to go nuts over.

Well, it's the Raiders we're talking about.

I'd rather get two of the Falcons 2nd round picks, give them our first round pick. I know it's not likely but 3 picks in the 2nd round would be nice.

you'd lose out on any potential DE starter and probably any potential CB starter (though you could get a good nickel guy).

I have faith in second round corners thanks to guys like Rasheen Mathis and Fred Smoot. Personally I love SmootSmacks idea of setting ourselves up with three second round picks. If anything I think the team could make use of those picks and we could come away from this draft with 5 starters and to me the DE's in this draft aren't that spectacular after Long, Harvey, and Gholston. Though I would like to see the Skins take a chance on Lawrence Jackson. The guy had 10.5 sacks last year at LE in an elite offensive conference.

i don't want him. but, hypothetically, i wouldn't give more then a 4th or 5th. if Hall is only worth a #2, Washington is no where near that caliber of talent
