Darrell_Green_28 03-15-2008, 11:53 AM Adrian Peterson of the Vikes i guess? SeanTaylor21 03-15-2008, 11:59 AM Adrian Peterson of the Vikes i guess? Oh, I thought he was talking about somebody on the Redskins and I started to get all confused lol RMSkins 03-15-2008, 01:38 PM BLAH BLAH bllaaaaahh got released today. We should sign Blahh blaaa bllaaaaa blaaaaaaa for depth. It's making me crazy. No offense RM. No problem. I just figured we need depth at the safety position big time, and I think Kennedy is a solid enough safety to provide that. There is no doubt in my mind that Kennedy is an upgrade over Prioleau, Stoutmire, and Fox. Plus I think Kennedy would come pretty cheap. 30gut 03-15-2008, 02:10 PM I think Boulware has really regressed since his rookie year. I'm not sure he's our answer Yeah but he didn't get smashed by Mike Sellars either. Both of these guy aren't top tier but Boulware could back-up Doughty at SS. A guy i really like is Matt Giordano he could back-up both spots. But he's a restricted FA so would probably cost more, (how much? idk) Matt Giordano | #43 | DB Height: 5-11 Weight: 200 Age: 25 Born: 10/16/1982 Fresno , CA College: California Experience: 4th season High School: Buchanan HS [Clovis, CA] 2007: Started four of 12 games at S position, three at FS and one at SS…saw action as reserve and special teamer in remaining games…started at SS vs. Tampa Bay 10/7 for injured Bob Sanders…started final three games at FS for injured Antoine Bethea…was inactive at Carolina 10/28, at San Diego 11/11, vs. Kansas City 11/18 and at Atlanta 11/22 with injury…had 21 tackles, 13 solo, 2-89, 1 TD interceptions and one pass defensed…also had four special teams tackles…had two tackles and 83t interception return vs. New Orleans 9/6…marked second career interception and first career TD…had two stops and one pass defensed vs. Denver 9/30…had three tackles in start vs. Tampa Bay…had four tackles in each of final three starts at Oakland 12/16, vs. Houston 12/23 and vs. Tennessee 12/30…had interception vs. Houston…had two special teams tackles at Houston 9/23. I dont really see why we should sign Matt Giordano, because all he has been in his career is an ok special teams player. Well if that's the case then I guess Brian Dawkins is a horrible safety too. Mike Sellers weighs 285 lbs. What happened to Kennedy on that play most likely would've happened to most of the safeties in the leauge. It's like the people who say "Well Aqib Talib must suck because look at this YouTube video of Jordy Nelson burning him" It's a dumb argument to make. There has to be more substance to the argument than one play. scafuri27 03-15-2008, 03:26 PM Kennedy delivered one of my all-time favorite hits..in 03 against the dolphins on a sunday nighter he knocked out chris chambers on a devastating hit across the middle..chambers couldnt get off the field he lost his legs like trevor berbick against mike tyson.. just thought Id add that..im 50/50 on him coming to the skins..i liked what I saw from Doughty last year. Skins_4_Lyfe 03-15-2008, 05:18 PM I guess he does have heart for even attempting to go up-top with Sellers...Almost reminds me of how Sean played; rather it was Jerome Bettis or Brandon Jacobs...but I'm not comparing him to Sean by any means. |
