Regardless of what happens in November, I'm glad that the American people will be able, in the course of this campaign, to learn about the tremendous sacrifice that he and his fellow POWs offered this country.

LOL seriously. If you think its bad where you live Buster, come to a college town. Students are fing idiots, and they go around parading Paul and his "movement". Some students were at the library giving Paul stuff out, and I went up to them and tried to engage them in debate about his policies and specifically if they actually believed in his plans, or lack thereof, for foreign affairs and no one could even give me an intelligent response. The best I got was that it isn't about the policies it is about the movement.

Yeah, I think he could have done better if he just toned things down a bit and made a few changes, such as believing in evolution. Well at least he was true to himself.

I think at this point McCain somewhat needed the endorsement because Bush is still quite popular with the GOP base, which McCain still needs to solidify. I think McCain just wants the endorsement to be noticed by Republicans but not made a big deal beyond that, and I think that is what has happened so far.
