I heard John Clayton say this on ESPN Saturday night Bill is seriously cleaning house but I thought he should've been the only one they kept guess not huh? And no I'm not saying go after him but why cut him if no one is willing to trade 4 him he still has 3 or more good years in him I don't understand unless he cost a lot but even then he should've been cut before the free agency started right?

John Clayton was just reporting what Yahoo! Sports said...which Bill Parcells has since denied
My guess is if the right offer comes along though, Parcells won't say no. Though I imagine Taylor has some say on where he'd be traded to.
ESPN - Parcells discounts talk of Taylor's departure, expects Pro Bowler to return - NFL (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3273442&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines)

Jason Taylor does not fit Parcell's 3-4 scheme. Taylor is strictly a 4-3 pass rush DE. Parcells like his DL to be run stoppers and occupy the offensive linemen so his LB's make the plays. Taylor is not built for that.

^^ you're exactly right, he's pretty much in the same position Andre Carter was in coming out of San Fran.. The only way Taylor would fit that would be to move him to a LB, and I DONT see that happening.

JLC Blog, he mentions this would be a name to watch? We'll see.

Still Very Quiet
Despite reports to the contrary, multiple sources say the Skins did not make any real push for Lance Briggs; in fact, Chicago was his strong suitor by a mile.
Skins watchiing the DJ Hackett market, and with WRs drying up it will be interesting to see if they make a play in the next 48 hours should he still be sitting there.
I still think the trade market could be their MO at some point. Jason Taylor would be a name to watch, no doubt.
Hope you all are having a great weekend.
Cheers.

This, just like Sheppard, is speculation on JLC's part. I'd rather give a vet min, incentive laden contract to Jevon Kearse than trade mutliple picks for Jason Taylor.
Understand that I'm not saying I want Kearse, just saying if I had to choose...

Why does the title of this thread look like it was written by Master Chief? 2 leave? b4? I feel like someones trying to send me a text message.
Anyway Parcells is great at bullshitting. "I'm not going to the Jets" "I'm retired!" Personally I don't take what he says at face value. However that might be enough to keep him in Miami. The next step would be for Jason Taylor to demand a trade.
I really want him to come to the Redskins, so I'm hoping that Taylor becomes a winey premadonna within the next month.

Taylor has to focus on Dancing with the Stars first

JLC is a Redskin insider only when the powers that be allow for him to be. It's funny to me that people think that he has lots of secret connections to the pulse of the front office because it's just not true. Like I've said before JLC works for the Post and Dan Snyder and the Post have a horrible relationship so it would make sense that JLC would not have access to many of the goings on behind closed doors at Redskins Park. I think La Canfora's blog needs to be renamed to Not Really A Redskins Insider at All.
