FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Sources: Vikes ink Berrian to 6-year deal (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7860874/Source:-Vikes-ink-Berrian-to-6-year-deal)

And the Browns got Stallworth (is it just me or are the Browns really active every year in the offseason?)

Which means we're down to Javon Walker and Bryant Johnson in terms of free agents. While Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, and Larry Fitzgerald are all rather remote possibilities.

I know we've talked about him before, but now that J. Walker is a fa, it has to be at least somewhat tempting to vinny et al.

I just wished we could go ahead and sign a wideout instead of drafting one (unless Malcolm Kelly or Limas Sweed fall to #21 or we trade for Chad Johnson. I mean Javon Walker would be hands down our best wideout if we sign him here. Walker or Hackett since both have played in the west coast offense that Zorn is implementing here. Snyder, come on I know that your mouth is getting watery for some action in this free agent frenzy. Let just get our wideout and then we can relax until draft day.

I'm positive they're interested in Walker.

BROWNS BAG STALLWORTH by Michael David Smith
Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have signed free-agent wide receiver Donte Stallworth.
Although terms of the deal have not been reported, Stallworth was said to be seeking a deal that would pay about $5 million a year, with about $10 million in guaranteed money. Stallworth became an unrestricted free agent when he was released by the New England Patriots just before a hefty roster bonus came due.
For the Browns, the addition of Stallworth should make their passing attack even more potent. Quarterback Derek Anderson (http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm#) had a good first season as the team's starter in 2007, and shortly after locking Anderson up for three more years, the Browns have now given him another weapon.
Cleveland has been one of the more active teams in the early days of the new league year, and Browns fans had better hope the team made the right calls on their veteran contracts. The Browns have traded away their first-, second- and third-round picks in this year's draft, meaning they won't get the influx of young talent that most NFL teams count on.

ESPN - Source: NFC East teams among those showing interest in Walker - NFL (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3272128)

according to this, a no. of teams are interested in Walker, doesn't mention the skins.

One of the post's articles last week said that the Skins didn't like him too much. I thought he might be a relative bargain, but if TB & SF are involved they will outspend us.

My bad, the article said "all four nfc east teams" so the Skins have been in touch w/his agent if these sources are right.

Also looks like the Bills might take a run at Bryant.
