I agree, and if we bring in another big WR he's gonna get more of the football due to less coverage.

As Schneed put it, th they could not agreee renogotiation is a huge win-win for the player nad the organization. The player gets guranteed more money, and gets it the day he restructures. The orginization gets salary cap room to bring in more players.

It doesn't take a smooth talker to say "Hey, want more money?"

Gotta give credit to Eric Schaffer (he even got a thread here dedicated to him)

But you know the whole restructuring/clear cap room thing is interesting. I mean I definitely agree with this, but I thought it was interesting that no one has really talked about the whole Larry Fitzgerald situation that went down this weekend. As you know, he/his agent and the Cardinals could not agree on a restructuring to his crazy $15 million 2008 contract and now it's handcuffing them in free agency. I think it was Faneca's agent who said that move (or lack of a move) was the single reason Faneca would not be a Cardinal.
