Around the league, the trade market is cooking and those D Tackles are moving fast. Sources say Stroud and Rogers could be swapped and Jacksonville looking for at least a second rounder for Stroud and would retain him unless value is offered. Corey Williams has been traded to Cleveland - it will be announced come midnight, sources said, and another name player, Jon Vilma, is very very close to beaing dealt to the Saints (Sources said the Skins nosed around on him but nothing serious).

i'll believe it when I see it.. The saints were also heavy contenders for Asante Samuel too, but you see that quieting down.. I have heard so much crap about this player going there and it's barely ever right.. Are we gonna sign Briggs?? No.. We won't.

Saints are still heavy contenders for Samuels. As are the Bucs, Lions, and especially Eagles.

Yeah, 'contenders' is a word that our name ( the skins ) gets tossed around into a lot.

I dont see the Saints paying, the Bucs are the team with the MOST salary cap Ibelieve and they could really use one to go next to old ronde barber.

Jets dealing Vilma to Saints for conditional pick -- Newsday.com (http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jets/ny-spjets0229,0,4306016.story)

Looks like Vilma is going to the Saints...interesting part about the conditional pick.

Man the Saints are going to learn the hard way, that you can't buy a Super Bowl. Samual and Vilma are going to improve the defense, but still. Besides I don't see why New Orleans should have to break the bank. The Hornets are near the top of the West right now and they have trouble selling out. Mark Cuban was right someone needs to get off their butt and sell some tickets.

So why should the Saints care?

Oh well, we'll see how well they do next year.

this makes me laugh. Samuels is going to want upwards to 100 million. no way the cheap ass eagles spend that kind of money. whats funnier is they probably have it to spend. always towards the bottom in team payroll
