Micheal Barrow...Never saw the field in a Redskins uni.

I like the John Hall honorable mention but it's not the worst. As for Kijana the skins never gave him big money...he was the Bengals blunder.

Michael Westbrook also comes to mind b/c of the amount of locker room disruption and simultaneous struggle on the field. He was worse than just his cap number to us!

He was bad, but that was such a stunning fall from grace that it was hard to blame the Skins. I mean the guy had 15 sacks, made the pro bowl, and was defensive player of the year right before we signed him. Then all of a sudden he sucks. There was no explaining that, and for me, very hard to fault the Skins on that one.

However, everyone in the league knew Jeff George was a piece of dogsh*t, and everyone in the league knew Brandon Lloyd was a locker room problem in SF. And we gave up picks and major $ for Lloyd.

Could it have been Stubblefield was doping his last year with the 49ers that led to his superior preformance? Of coures playing along side Bryant Young didn't hurt his situation either.

i voted deon sanders far away the biggest and worst acquisition of the last 10 yrs... and there are several others up there who should belong in the same company as deon..... and the redskins are probably still paying him $$$$. today.....

Gotta say the Arch-Deluxe on this one. Everyone knew he couldn't play, we just tried to act like maybe he still could. How in the hell we got the Bears to take him is beyond me.

Kijana Carter has got to be up there...

And i'm gonna go ahead and throw this one out at the risk of being unpopular...John Hall. I have never seen a kicker been so coddled and at the same time so injured, while also being overcompensated and contributing under expectations.

Carter?

We probably paid him the veteran minimum and it's not like he was brought in to start. And he was actually a productive player for us in 2001.

That's an odd choice. Are we just picking names out of a hat now?

We can actually make a case against just about everyone mentioned in the poll as well as some that weren't. However, the points Schneed made in reference to Lloyd are undenyable, and without a doubt when you consider his production/or lack thereof, coupled with his cost, his acquisition will go down as probably one of the worst trades the team has ever made.

I took Jeff George over Brandon Lloyd for the simple fact that because of George, Snyder drove a serviceable QB who has had success in the league out of town. Add to the fact that because of George's attitude towards Marty, the Skins had to run the season with Tony Banks as their starter.
