Sat and watched the replay of the Taylor/Pavlik fight and watching the Klitchko/Ibragimov fight this past Saturday night. Pavlik is a no-frills fighter that just simply outboxed Jermain Taylor.

However, Klitchko was simply afraid of the unorthodox. He flat out dominated the fight, but had so many opportunities to knock Ibragimov out and simply didn't. Was happy keeping him at bay with his left jab.

I'd love to see Klitchko bring the term "Undisputed Champion" back to the heavyweight ranks. He's an excellent fighter, and hopefully a few more big guys make their presence felt.

Klitscko had momentum when he KO'd the boxing banker in 07 at MSG... but the heavyweight division really is dead. A unification would not revive it. The first Pavlick Taylor fight was a classic one of the best fights Ive seen in the last ten years..But even that fight was under false pretense becuase if Taylor would have won it was fought at a catch weight of 166..Pavlick would still have the belt..Boxing just isint the same as it was even in the mid 90's.. hopefully Cotto takes care of business in April and he can square up against Mayweather later in the year for a huge bout
