Out of curiosity I am a badgers fan and was curious what you think of this. CB Jack Ike is supposed to be a laate first early second round pick. He was injured and will miss the 2008 season. This should drop his pick a TON. However even so he is a great corner back. Would you be interested? If so which round?

Are we missing a third round pick, I thought we were without one pick. Maybe the Ducket trade, I cant remember.
Update: We are without our fourth round pick, here is the link.

I thought we didn't until today, then I read Bram's blog about VC's radio chat (see Matty's thread) which indicated we did. But maybe we don't

EDIT: I went back and actually listened to the interview and I was right the first time

NO 4th ROUND PICK. Bram had me fooled

man, this draft is confusing :)

Some teams are concerned he might be the next Pac Man Jones

ike doesn't even look like he'll be drafted right now.

rudolph hardie looks like a great value DE in the 6th or 7th round. 71 TT, 10 sacks for div2 howard is still pretty good, and those late picks aren't worth much anyways.

What does everyone know about Josh Johnson, QB out of San Diego? Played in a pro-style WC under Jim Harbaugh. Possible late rounder?

it would be nice if he did but I know he wont

Maybe. If we could just get are hands on enough heroin to get someone charged with pocession, not dealing, then we slide it into his SUV next to a pair of gloves to explain why his finger prints arent on the bag. Then we call in a tip to the Michigan State police and BOOM!!! Devin Thomas fifth round pick.

That changes EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

Assuming we picked either Reggie Smith or Cromartie in the 1st and Chis Williams with the 2nd... And we addressed another receiver in FA (Wilford?) and HOPEFULLY knabed Antwoin Odom (Ten Titans)...

3rd Round: Marcus Griffin (S - Texas) or Craig Steltz (S - LSU)

4th Round: Mike McGlynn (OG - Pitt)

5th Round: Marcus Monk (WR - Arkansas) or Dennis Dixon (QB - Oregon)

6th Round: Kellen Davis (TE - Michigan St)

7th Round: Xavier Lee (QB - FSU *If we did not take Dixon) or Johnny DIngle (DT/DE - WVU)

RFA's...
Jonathan Wilhite (CB - Auburn), Josh Thompson (DT - Auburn), Malik Jackson (OLB - Louisville), Alley Broussard (RB - Mizz Southern FORMERLY the starter @ LSU), or Bejarvis Green (RB - Ole Miss)...

Xavier Lee?? He's pretty bad from the games i watched. Big guy though. Only really seen him play a few games though.

Later rounds: Someone really fast...rb, kr-pr, or wr. You can never have enough speed.

6th Round: Andrew Crummey Andrew Crummey Scouting Report - 2008 NFL Draft Prospect (http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/andrewcrummey.html)
7th Round: Brian Witherspoon Brian Witherspoon Scouting Report - 2008 NFL Draft Prospect (http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/brianwitherspoon.html)

I agree on Dre Moore. Personally I think it would be great to get Merling out of Clemson then have Thomas/Jordy fall to us in the second round. This pick would really shore up our defensive line as well as getting Vinny his inside pass rusher. Six sacks whoa Nelly. Plus a good DL will go great lengths toward protecting our secondary.

Brian Witherspoon, super fast CB/return man, possible 7th round or FA
