Cason may not make it past the Cardinals at 16. And if Talib has a good combine he may not be there at 21 either.
Hopefully one of them will though. If not, then maybe someone like Mike Jenkins would slide down

If we are talking defense only then I would suggest CB, DE, or DL. We will need one more CB due to Rogers being out. They are not even sure if Rogers will come back and be the same. If he's not the same then we atleast have a plan. If he's just a new then we will have our CB for the future.
We need a DE to accompany Carter. This would definitly be awsome. Who was the fill in during the Seatle game. I think he did pretty good. Perhaps just a little more playing time.
We need DL due to the fact that Daniels and Griffin are older and somehow hurt often. One of them always is having back spasms. Time to get younger. This is the year to bring in young blood and start rotating them to get experience.
Our S turned out to be pretty good. I like what we had even though it was make shift. Perhaps more playing time and the dynamic duo will be awsome. With more of a rush from the line and they might get more interceptions.
Offense has a lot of needs also though. I'm hoping Mix turns out to be a gem especially in this offense however I think we need an experienced tall talented possession WR. Mix was a rookie last year and he will need to time to be excellent.
Our OL is getting old as well. Time to start looking for young blood there also. Even if we can just rotate them in on games that we are blowing away the competition to get experience.
We need to lose Brunell and Collins. Maybe Collins will follow AS. Brunell will be a cap casualty(hopefully). Lets get younger there also. I like Campbell I think he will be great in this offense. I hope the Marylander we picked up last year...Sam Hollenbach turns out to be good also in this offense. Then we can pick up a #3 in a late round or pick one up that was not drafted.

I have said it before, we need to get Corey Williams. I think we should draft a DE. We keep springs for one more year and draft a corner next year. We need to take Oline in the next two rounds.

Chris Long may go 1st per NFL Network. Top 5 lock though. I wouldn't be upset if we somehow got Chris Long as long as we didn't give away too much. He's can rush the passer, he's can stuff the run, he's ultra competitive, and he's a class act. I'd be really happy to get him.

Lawrence Jackson from USC would be a great first round pick. I want him to be a skin, and he would asses a big hole at DE.

i agree on getting c.willliams hes an up and commer, and wont be as overpriced as some other vets like justin smith or jevon kerse if the end up relesing him.also pick up some depth for our outside lb pos. plenty oflb in free agency and draft. while other teams swallow up the big names - l.briggs ,calvin pace ,al wilson (if healty same as dan morgon)t.suggs(proberly franchised)jon vilma (if traded and ian gold),zach thomas ,ect.we can pick up a possible starter / decent backup like -reggie tobar ,victor hobson ,rocky boiman ,boss bailey or clark higgins. and nothing much on off ,maybe wr dj hackett and ot max starks.
so saying we get dj wr ,max ot ,coery dt ,victor olb ( which shouldn't break the bank) i would love to draft talib cb, but after the combine and no clear cut superstar at the pos hell never fall to us. so maybe d rodgers cromatie cb ,but proberly still go de like d.harvey , or c.campell .then in 2nd rnd if didnt get a de get one now like c.ellis or l jackson. if we did get a de then a db like b.flowers,c.godfrey ,d.morgon ,j.adams ,t.zbikowski. so 1st 2 rnds go de and db and then pick up a wr and ol later. wr later could be m.urruttia ,m.monk,l.leggit or d.bess. ol h.bendict ,p.sosa ,j.greco , r.felton ,c.reinhart.
so def would look like this -
dt-c.griffin ,c.williams,a.montgemry,k.goldstin
de-a.carter,c.campell,p.daneils,d.evans
olb-m.wasighton,r.mcintosh(if healthy),v.hobson,k.campell
ilb-l.flecter,hd.blades
cb-springs,smoot,rodgers(if heathy),d.macklin
s-l.landry,reed doughty ,v.fox,t.zbikowski
and the off will be same persoanl plus depth at ol and an extra wr or two.

We dont need any older players, we are trying to become an even younger team right now.

I'll admit, I'm very lazy (and at work right now so I can play on the internet TOO much.)
Can someone post the top CBs in the draft and their stats?

I like zbikowski too. I mean pro boxer, hard hitting safety. the kid is tough as nails, sure he is a little slow but might be a steal in the later rounds. Although he may be snatched prematurely because of the gold helmet. Either way I think he has some intangibles that shouldn't be overlooked
